Dave Coggin is known around the baseball community as a leader in taking players from youth to college to the professional levels. His track record for developing some of the top young MLB baseball players, like Daniel Robertson, World Series winner Joe Kelly, Adam Plutko, Matt Davidson, Tyler Beedie, Vincent Velasquez, Andrew Vasquez, Jake Nix, Kolby Allard, and Adam McCreery has been so effective that MLB teams are now hiring him to consult their coaching staffs on his techniques. He owns Performance Fitness for Athletes, one of the country’s premier baseball training facilities, located in Upland, CA. Dave has built a reputation around the baseball world as one the “good guys,” known to consistently emphasize the importance of growth outside the baseball field as well as on it. Dave knows the importance of being a well-rounded athlete, he was a two-sport All-American in high school and had a scholarship to play quarterback and pitcher for national powerhouse Clemson University, but eventually signed as a first round pick for the Phillies where he made it to the Major Leagues.
